Humans have been making glass for over 4,000 years. While we use glass everyday, from construction to drinkware to decoration, there are many misconceptions about this material. Dr. Rebecca Potash has been obsessed with glass since she first tried glassblowing in 2004. She worked as a docent, science educator and glassblowing demonstrator at the world renowned Corning Museum of Glass while completing her Ph.D. in chemistry from Cornell University. She recently relocated to Steamboat Springs to work as a ski instructor at Steamboat, a chemist at ACZ Labs and a glassblowing instructor at Warehome Studios.
