"You never know how many people's lives you will benefit when you give a little help to another person"
The Blackburn Family sent the following letter with a $10,000 donation to the Steamboat Pickleball capital campaign:
"I want to thank you for the work you do making a difference in people's lives. Sometimes a helping hand makes a positive difference. I will never forget the support I received from three local business men when I was 20 years old, married with two children...No job, no income and no family support. I want your organization to act with integrity and transparency even when that is uncomfortable. I feel these two values helped me earn this money and I hope those values transfer with my donation. I want you to be responsible in the way that you help people. By responsible, I mean to give when it is needed in a way that is sustainable."
Thank you Paula Gregory for leading Good News today. Good News raised $323.

Please join us in the inaugural Thankuary starting on January 1st, 2021. The goal is to hand write, email or phone someone in the community EACH DAY IN JANUARY and tell them “thank you for what you do”! This is an amazing way to show gratitude and kindness in our town and kick off 2021 with "Thanks"! And, it feels as good to give thanks as it does to receive it!
Thankuary cards will be available TOMORROW at Elevated Olive! They are FREE TO ROTARIANS and are available for purchase (31 cards for $40) for non Rotarians!
