Fall Grants Awarded
The club has three grant cycles each year. The club is thrilled to support the following organizations with funds for their requested projects:
* Steamboat Springs Orchestra- $500 for youth orchestra scholarships
* Girls on the Run- $500 to support their run on Nov. 3
* Rocky Mtn. Youth Corps-$500 to support the Yampa Valley Science School for 6th graders in Routt County
*Steamboat Springs Middle School-$475 for iPads for the music education program to compose and play music
*Soda Creek Elementary School-$475 for iPads to use with students with significant special needs at the elementary level
* Steamboat Springs HS- $400 to use as start up funds for a snack program at the HS for students on Free and Reduced meal programs
* Integrated Community-$500 for a program to assist youth who are learning to speak English
