FOR THOSE ROTARIANS WHO MISSED THE MEETING ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 25, 2014

                C.J. Coolidge, from Houston, TX., was our dynamic speaker offering his Program, “People Driven Business.” Thank you, C.J., your presentation was inspiring and very much enjoyed by the Rotary Club of Steamboat Springs.

                Joan Ihrig and Paul Hebert served as our Greeters. Joan also introduced our guests, (including C.J’s wife and members of his family), and visiting Rotarians. Thank you for your help Joan and Paul.

                John Holloway provided our Thought for the Day, and was able to tie the first one to our dear departed friend, Michael Roberts and the second to our upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. Thank you , John.

                Scott Marr took care of our Good News, business and we tallied $437.00! Way to go, Scott! (C.J. was a big contributor to Good News, thank you, C.J.)

Kate Nowak from United Way took the floor first and told us about: “Routt County Together.”

Alice announced the location for our Holiday Party – Schmiggity’s on Tuesday evening, December 16, 2014, commencing at 5:00 pm.

Karl announced the deadline for applying for this cycle of Rotary Grants, December 15, 2014.

Seba needs a ride to and from Cheyenne, WY., for a District 5440 Youth Exchange meeting, over the weekend  beginning December 5, 2014. Please contact Julie Taulman if you can help.

Kerry Shea filled us in on the Community Holiday Tubing Party at Howelsen Hill on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 pm.

Tara took another crack at the: “Seasoned Member –New Member” raffle. John Holloway and Lisa Schlicterman have $12.00 to splurge on in getting to know each other sometime over the next two weeks and reporting to the Club what they learned about each other!

We deferred Student of the Month and Rotarian of the Month to our meeting on, Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
