Thanks to everyone who joined our meeting on Tuesday! We had 48 people total, including 47 Steamboat Rotarians and 1 guest.
Thank you Steve Sehnert for providing Thought for the Day (and getting us ready for Ski Day!):
"Skiing is the only sport where you spend an arm and a leg to break an arm and a leg."
"You can’t buy happiness – but you can buy a ski pass."
"Yes, I have a Retirement Plan – I plan on skiing."
"A ski bum is someone who takes a low-paying job at a ski resort so he can watch people with high-paying jobs ski while he works."
"When hell freezes over, I’ll ski there too."
Good News raised $257 today!

Since this email is so late, it is being sent after the Inaugural Poker Run. This gives me the opportunity to say a huge "Congrats" to Eric Rabesa, Brett Allison and the rest of the team for pulling off an incredible fundraiser! The weather cooperated, the volunteers showed up to help pull it together, and the event brought a ton of smiles to faces (not to mention a great fundraising effort!) I can't wait to hear more details from the day!
Tomorrow's meeting is Kelly Romero-Heaney & Tim Sullivan speaking on the Yampa River Health and Climate Resilience in Steamboat Springs!
See you then,
Gillian
