Meeting Notes from November 5, 2013

Congratulations to Olivia Rudolph from Lowell Whiteman School who is our October student of the month.
Eric R and Erik G provided a presentation on our upcoming Community Holiday Party, December 15th at Howelsen Hill. Our goal is 100% club participation on this important event. More will follow.
Suzie Hawkins accepted Don Lufkin’s benefactor award from the Rotary Foundation and gave a history of her experiences with Don and his philanthropic history.
Remember, our meeting of next week the 12th is being combined with the Chamber’s Navigator Awards at the Sheraton at 11:30 AM.

Instead of our meeting on the 19, we will conducting the Four Way Test at Steamboat Springs Middle School from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Please contact Leslie Gamel if you want to participate, but have not yet signed up.
Our next meeting at the Grand will be a club assembly on the 26th.
Tara Weaver and Carol Parish presented Lynna Broyles with a $13,000 check for the Boys and Girls Club and Leslie Gamel with a $1,500 check for Shelter Box from the Barn Dance profits. We then received an awesome thank you from some of the kids who participate in the Boys and Girls Club program.
Julie Taulman provided us with our program on STARs adaptive sports programs. Thank you to Julie for an enlightening program.
