Thank you, Michelle Garner and Rich Gloor, for welcoming our members and guest to our noon meeting.    Neal Best, from the Greeley Rotary Club, joined us for lunch while in town.

Loretta provided out Thought for the Day and Melissa Gibson did her Steamboat Minute, telling us a little about her work at Land Title.  Thanks to both Loretta and Melissa.

Gillian made an announcement regarding the flower barrels.  The empty barrel inserts need to be transported to Vernal, Utah and she was requesting that if anyone has the time to make the trip, it would be much appreciated.

Students are back in session and have been in classes for a couple of months, so Student of the Month will now resume.  Eric Rabesa presented our first Student of the Month for this year.  Althea attends the Steamboat Mountain School, has a very impressive list of accomplishments and is very deserving of this award.  Congratulations to Althea , she has a very bright future!

Rotarians of the Month for September were also awarded to a few of our members.  Gillian and Kathy, for all of their hard work on the flower barrels, they were indeed beautiful this summer (the flower barrels in addition to Gillian and Kathy) and Susie and Ashley, for the many hours they spent planning and organizing another successful Barn Dance.

Our program was presented by our newest exchange students, Margret and Salvador, and Brooks, a student that attended RYLA this summer.  Margret and Salvador both had wonderful presentations about their backgrounds, families, home countries and much more.  Both mentioned that one of the reasons they wanted to do an exchange was to improve their English, but their communication skills were excellent.  Please keep them in mind when planning your family events and include them as often as possible.   Brooks shared several stories about his time at RYLA and his enthusiasm was contagious.  He believed his leaderships skills were greatly enhanced and was appreciative of his time spent at the camp.  He would very much like to go back as a counselor in future years.

Thank you to Raymond for hosting GOOD NEWS.
