Thanks to everyone who joined our meeting on Tuesday! We had 58 people total, including 58 Steamboat Rotarians and 1 guest.
Tiffany Leeson wrote the Thought for the Day for the club as a thank you for the good news generosity this year. Good News has collected over $21,000 this year, nearly $10,000 more thank in previous years, to grant in scholarships! (Goosebumps!)
Steamboat Noon Rotary Club needs some applause
We hit a bump – a bit of a pause.
We cried, we feared, we found some good
We made the best of our year with Covid.
By coming together and sharing Good News
We kept at bay the dread Covid blues.
This year we’ve collected a record-breaking amount
Almost too much for Angela to count!
It’s true, the kid’s futures look bigger and brighter,
A musician, a rancher or a future writer?
The money we give, makes dreams come true
Without all of you, we can’t do what we do!
The Scholarship team is excited to say
We are incredibly grateful for your “generosatay”!
We look forward to sharing Good News in person with you
When we show you the smiles of our recipients – WHEW!
So, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH
Steamboat Noon Rotary – you’re a giving BUNCH!
Marci Valicenti and the club's generosity raised $442 in Good News today!
Thank you to Jeff Steck and Mike Nelson for sharing their New Member Introduction Talks with the club. We always love getting to know new members a little better, and we are looking forward to really getting to know you more in person!
