We had a very informative election forum at our meeting on Tuesday. We heard from the City Council candidates as well as Proposition 2i. I would like to send a big thank you to Michelle Garner for putting this forum together for us!
The Board of Directors had a meeting on Monday, Oct 9th. Please see the attached meeting minutes and financial report.
The nominating committee will be meeting on Oct 18th. We are looking for four new board members. Please consider joining the Board of Directors, it is the best way to get involved and make a difference in the future of our club.
Upcoming events:
We are looking for a ride for our exchange student, Mikkel, to Fort Collins on Oct 20th and returning on Oct 22nd. He has a meeting with the other exchange students. Can you help? Please let Chuck Cerasoli know if you can.
Saturday, Oct 28th-Lift up food drive at City Market with Interact kids 9am-3pm.
Halloween- We will be having a walking sinister tour of downtown with Marianna Capra instead of our normal meeting at the Grand. Please let us know if you plan to attend. We will be ordering sandwiches.
Halloween Stroll- We will have our Rotary tent on Lincoln in front of Elevated Olive. It is always fun the be downtown on Halloween! Please sign up to help.
Rhinestone Round up- Please remember to bring in your old jewelry and guy gifts to the meeting on Tuesday. We will be collecting each week until through November.
Next week Oct 17th, we will be at the Grand and our program will be new member talks!
