Sep 8 Meeting Recap

Thank you so much to Matt Kempton, Filip Boelen, and Debbie Aragon for sponsoring today's lunch at Rex's!  Between Zoom and in person, we had a total of 45 participants - including 40 Steamboat Rotarians, 2 visiting Rotarians, 2 guests, and our speaker, Jeff Temple.  26 of you brave souls attended in person despite that crazy storm!  Another BIG thank you to Rex's crew for their flexibility and creativity making it possible for our club to meet in person.  We could not do these meetings without Chris Stillwell and Mark Fitzgerald!

Chancie Keenan introduced a little of herself through the Steamboat Minute.

Lori Livingston has been reaching out to our local non profits to see where Rotarians can help.  She will be sending out needs as she receives them.  Since we have no major fundraisers and United Way Day of Caring was cancelled this year, please consider allotting the time you would put into those into some of these requests.  Here are the first two requests:
1. Steamboat Reading is looking for marketing help in order to make a brochure
2. Partners of Routt County is looking for 5 people to help organize their space during the week of September 7th.

NO NOON MEETING NEXT WEEK - Instead we will meet at 4:30 on Tuesday at the Meadows parking lot for Flower barrel pick up.  If the weather is nice, plan to stick around for some fellowship afterwards! Lots of volunteers are needed to make this go smoothly!
