Winter Grant Awards Announced

Our club awards grants to projects or programs which benefit youth and seniors, through three different grant cycles each year.  The club is thrilled to support the following organizations with funds for their requested projects:

* Steamboat Springs School district-$950 for summer school programming for elementary students to improve literacy skills

* Hayden High School-$750 to be split between support for the Future Business Leaders of America students to attend a conference in Vail in April 2013 and assistance with the Hayden HS Prom.

* Hayden Valley Elementary School-$500 for the purchase of an iPad to use with elementary special education students

* Hayden School District-$200 for Red Ribbon Week activities related to substance abuse prevention.

* Strings Music Festival-$900 to support their Outreach programs for youth and community members throughout Routt County.
