Recipient: Sleeping Giant School PTIC
Grant Amount: $15,000
Activity: The grant will help complete Sleeping Giant School’s outdoor classroom. The space for the outdoor classroom was included in the initial school design plans and the infrastructure, including flooring and electrical outlets were completed during buildout. In order to make the space a functioning outdoor classroom for 400 students enrolled in grades Pre-K through 8th, furnishings are needed. The impact grant will be used to purchase the furniture.
Recipient: Routt County United Way – Women United
Grant Amount: $11,322
Activity: Funds will be used to expand adult financial literacy courses to Hayden and Oak Creek. Additionally Routt County United Way will be partnering with schools in these areas to provide financial literacy curricula for high school students.
