Congratulations to DG Mike Forney - the newest member of the Bequest Society

Our club, with the assistance of John Holloway and Jane Denning, was proud to honor club member and District Governor Mike Forney for his recognition by Rotary International as a member of the Bequest Society.  Joins Jack Morrison and Karl Gills as one of only three Bequest Society members within our club.  Bequest Society members put a clause in their will that directs $10,000 or more to the Rotary International Foundation at their death. 

The original vision of Rotary was to create a better world.  Today the Rotary Foundation honors that vision by doing its utmost to alleviate the ravages of illness, poverty, and illiteracy.  The Foundation’s programs address the international community’s need for peace, education and training, and adequate food and water through an array of humanitarian, educational and cultural programs.  Bequest contributions from generous Rotarians go directly to the Foundation’s educational and humanitarian programs.
