It was great to see everyone back at the Community Center this week! We had an informative presentation from Meg Franges of First Impressions. She explained the childcare needs in our community.

The Board of Directors had their monthly meeting on Monday, December 11th. We voted to remove the Good News $50 business announcement fee because we want to know about events happening in our community. If it is important to you, it is important to our club. Please be respectful of time during Good News. It should be 1-2 minutes to give everyone and opportunity to share.

Agua Prieta is planned for January 12-15. We have 7 Rotarians and 14 Interact kids going. This is a service trip we do every year to visit our "sister club" in the Mexican border town of Agua Prieta. We are collecting donations to purchase gifts for the orphanages we will be visiting.

It is not too late to help wrap gifts at the Boy and Girls club. Kit Paulin is looking for a few more volunteer for Friday afternoon.

Tara Weaver organized gifts for The Haven Senior Center and the United Way gift card collection. United Way reach their goal of 966 gift cards for over 400 local families in need. Thanks to everyone who brought gifts and volunteered.
