FOR THOSE ROTARIANS WHO MISSED THE MEETING ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 6, 2015
First, my apologies for this tardy meeting up-date. Things have been extremely busy!
Many thanks to Dr. Peter Perhac and Randy Rudasics for making the fantastic facilities at Colorado Mountain College available for our regular luncheon meeting. We very much appreciated the change in venue to a location probably every restaurant in Steamboat Springs envies!
John Kuhn gave us our Thought for the Day. Thank you John for your series of inspirational thoughts.
We inducted new members, Jim Clark and Larry Carlson. Welcome to the Club, Jim and Larry. We are very glad to have you with us. Thank you Ellen Kendall and the Membership Committee for bringing us: “The best new members, ever!”
We recognized Lynna Broyles and Lisa Schlicterman as our Rotarians of the Month, (November, 2014), for their work on Rotary Action (November, 2014). Excellent publication Lisa and Lynna and the Public Relations Committee! Thank you for your outstanding efforts and results, which have garnered compliment after compliment, all of which are well deserved.
Thank you to Kris Hammond for handling Good News. Lots of “car stories.”
Our Program featured Chad Stewart of the U.S. Forest Service, whose presentation was informative and in depth regarding the issues facing the Forest Service. I, for one, was educated on the vast amount of land and natural resources under Chad’s jurisdiction. Thank you Winnie for putting together this very worthwhile Program.
Good News - $217.00
