FOR THOSE ROTARIANS WHO MISSED THE TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 2015 MEETING

                Karen, (“It is all about the children”) McRight gave her Classification Talk today. One had to be awed and inspired by Karen and her husband, Rusty’s selfless dedication, generosity and above all, their love for children. Not many people would even think about doing what Karen and Rusty seem to do naturally. A great Classification Talk presentation Karen. It is a privilege to have someone of your caliber as a member of our Club.

                We celebrated April Birthdays today as well: Ian Engle, David Scully, Sam Haslem, Jim Nowak, Peter Perhac, Randy Rudasics, John Centner and Todd Hayes. Happy Birthday Rotarians!

                Thank you to our Greeter, Randy Rudasics, who also introduced our guest, Rusty McRight, Karen’s husband, who was there to support Karen in her Classification Talk.

                Days before her official retirement day from:  “The Sheraton,” Kristal Eckley provided our Thought for the Day, which, not surprisingly, had a “Retirement Theme.” Thank you Kristal and best wishes on your retirement. We will look forward to your return to Steamboat in June! You do so much for our Club!

                We were able to present Dillon Fulcher with his Rotarian of the Month pin, joining Lynaia for their work on the District 5440 Exchange Student Ski Weekend in Steamboat earlier this season. Congratulations Dillon – well deserved!

                We identified two new Paul Harris Fellows, and will get them their Certificates and pins – P.J. Wharton and Grant Fenton. We honored Robert Ralston with his Paul Harris Fellow + 4 pin. Congratulations to our new Paul Harris Fellows and especially Robert on his achievement!
