Thanks to everyone who joined our meeting today! We had 54 Steamboat Rotarians and 3 guests on the call.

Thanks to Michelle Garner for keeping the Lift Up collections alive during our remote meetings. She was able to collect $225 today.
Silver lining to remote meetings - although Filip Boelen now lives in Flagstaff, he is able to remain a member of our club with no glitches! He even lead good news this week and raised $453.
Kimberly Ward (Stacie Fain's sister) presented on her two year sail through the Caribbean. We were all drooling at the pictures and experiences. She is in the process of writing a book on the experience titled "Crew of Three: Ready to Set Sail". You can follow her on Facebook at Kimberly Ward, Writer and her presentation is attached.
Thank you Dan Bonner for inducting Matthew Rochon and Steve Jensen yesterday. We are excited to get to know the two of you, as well as all of our new members, better in the coming year. As Dan highlighted, our club, and specifically the Membership Committee, should be so proud of the retention of existing members and the attraction of new members this year!

Thankuary is upon us. The goal is to hand write, email, text, or phone someone in the community daily and tell them “thank you for what you do!” This is an amazing way to show gratitude and kindness in our town and kick off 2021 with "Thanks"! And, it feels as good to give thanks as it does to receive it! Thankuary cards are available at Elevated Olive. They are free to Rotarians and available for purchase for non Rotarians! Reminder - any thank you on any day makes you an important part of Thankuary! Don't be overwhelmed by the ask, just enjoy it an do what you can!
Past District Governor Chuck Rutenberg is putting together a District Rotarian Business Directory which he emails out monthly to all Rotarians in District 5440 (almost 3,000) encouraging each member to support Rotarian businesses.
