Loretta Conway led Good News today bringing in $500! Thank you to the Foundation Committee for teaching us history, purpose and success of the Steamboat Springs Rotary Club Endowment. In our 17 years of giving from the Endowment, the Rotary Club of Steamboat Springs has granted $333,050 from 238 grants to 84 different non-profits. Currently, the club's fund holds $883,085.34, and we are well on our way to reaching the goal of $1,000,000. The Foundation Committee has earmarked $10,000 in matching funds for any Rotarian who would like to work towards receiving a Jack Black Fellow (available for each $1,000 contribution toward the fund). Each Rotarian is eligible for a match up to $500. If you would like to participate, or would like to know how far you are from your reaching $1,000, reach out to Scott Marr at scottamarr@gmail.com. Rotary Park Cleanup: Paula Cooper Black has initiated a signup for Rotary Park Cleanup on Thursday afternoons through the summer. Please sign up for one of those days! District Conference: Jim Moylan announced that the District Conference is coming up on May 21 (6-9 PM) and May 22 (9am-12pm). It is free, virtual, and always inspiring.
