Lots of money for great causes was raised through the club's neverending generosity today. Michelle Garnerraised $195 for Lift Up. John Holloway raised $1240 to replace the bronze hand of Michael Roberts that was stolen from the Peace Pavilion, and Lynaia South raised $350 in Good News today!

Flower Barrels: Flower barrels are being delivered to Steamboat Monday, June 7th and to the community on Tuesday, June 8th. Please be on the lookout for an email from Chancie Keenan with details to order those, and please save those June dates to help get those around town!
Rotary Park Cleanup: John Holloway is working on a Rotary Park cleanup. Please keep an eye out for more details, including a date.
Steamboat Hoedown: The Ski Town Rotary Club is putting on Steamboat Hoedown benefitting Ski Town Rotary and the Boys and Girls Club. Please save the date - September 3rd at Brown Airplane Hanger. Sponsorship opportunities and more details will follow!
Moonhill Dairy Farm to Table Dinner - June 26: John Weibel is hosting another Farm to Table Dinner at Moonhill Dairy on June 26th. Karen Wray is helping with the coordination and details. If you would like to help with the preparation, please email Karen Wray.
Pickleball Happy Hour: Loretta Conway has one more Rotary Happy Hour Pickleball scheduled on the last Tuesday of April (27th) from 5-6:30. Cost is $5 per person and preregistration is required. Preregister by calling 879-8400 or emailing loretta@steamboat10s.com.
Lobsterfest: The Lobsterfest is returning this year. Save the date for September 11, 2021 at the downtown fire station. The beneficiary will be Routt County Crisis Support!
Board Meeting Recap: The board approved changing Filip Boelen's membership status to Leave Of Absence while we figure out a new membership class!
The April happy hour will be hosted by Tara Weaver. It will be in person Date TBD.
The BOD approved, at Kris Hammonds request, to allow the funds set aside for travel to Agua Prieta, to be used for a project presented by the AP club.
Thanks to Karl Gills for instigating a policy review. Key changes approved yesterday:
1. Good news will continue to be billed when we return to in person, rather than cash or sugar packets.
2. The name of the "Scholarship Fund" will change to the "Post High School Scholarship Fund" to allow for funds to be granted to more diverse educational pursuits.
3. Thought for the Day- No politics will be added to policy (along with religion)
4. Membership- If a Rotarian is running for office, he/she cannot campaign at a Rotary event unless it is a scheduled event (ie political forum)
